Vodafone to launch fixed service in Romania

26 Sep 2017

Murielle Lorilloux, Vodafone Romania’s new CEO, has announced that the company will launch fixed communication and television services, reports the Ziarul Financiar. Lorilloux set out her priorities for Vodafone’s Romanian operations as big data, expanded service offerings in both the mobile and fixed sectors to make them more appealing for families, and digitisation. The CEO has suggested that the company needs to improve the range of its telephony services in order to reach a wider market, and to offer customers greater choice with converged packages.

Vodafone is currently the second largest mobile network operator (MNO) in Romania by subscribers, with a market share of 33.9% at June 2017, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database.
