Melita to introduce Gigabit internet

Maltese cable TV, broadband and mobile services provider Melita says it is preparing to launch Gigabit download speeds over its fixed line cable network. Its Internet Fibre Power services currently offer peak download speeds of 250Mbps. Melita controlled around 47% of Malta’s broadband internet sector at the end of June 2017, with its main rival being market leader GO.
