Open Fiber signs Milan FTTH deal

2 Aug 2017

Italian regional utility firm A2A says it has now signed agreements with both Telecom Italia (TIM) and rival Open Fiber to allow its infrastructure to be used to aid the deployment of fibre-optic equipment in Milan. In September 2016 TIM signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with A2A covering a partnership to deploy fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks in Italy’s financial capital. Meanwhile, a report from Reuters now confirms that Open Fiber has also forged an agreement with A2A.
