Ncell expands 4G LTE service to ten new cities

Nepal’s second largest cellco by subscribers, Ncell has extended the reach of its 4G LTE footprint to the ten new cities of Biratnagar, Birtamode, Damak, Dharan, Bharatpur, Hetauda, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Butwal and Nepalgunj. This expansion now means that the company’s 4G population coverage has reached 15% after the network went live yesterday in these new locations. Milan Sharma, a corporate communications expert at Ncell said: ‘We are delighted to announce the launch of Ncell 4G in ten more cities. The launch demonstrates Ncell’s commitment to swiftly roll out 4G so that more and more customers across Nepal can access high-speed broadband and reap the benefits.’ Ncell now covers a total of 17 cities across Nepal with its 4G LTE network.
