Slovenia’s Agency for Communications Networks & Services (Agencija za komunikacijska omrezja in storitve, AKOS) says mobile operators Telekom Slovenije, A1 Slovenia (formerly Si.mobil) and Telemach (formerly Tusmobil) have fulfilled the rollout obligations included in the 4G licences they were awarded three years ago. The regulator’s compliance report has found that all three firms have met the required coverage targets and that the main objectives of the auction of 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz and 2600MHz spectrum have been achieved. Meanwhile, A1 has met the additional rollout requirements specified in its 800MHz permit, namely to reach 95% of the population with a 10Mbps mobile or fixed-wireless broadband connection within three years using any of its licensed spectrum bands.
