IP, networking and technology developer Cataleya has been selected by Japanese telecommunication carrier Sanntuu Corporation to supply it with its next generation Session Border Controller (SBC) Orchid One platform to speed up the carrier’s full TDM to IP infrastructure migration. Based in Toshima-Ku, privately owned Sanntuu was founded in 1999 as a telegraph and communications company and today provides telecoms services across Japan. Its core offering includes international calling, deployment and resale of IP circuits, call centre and IP PBX solutions, interactive voice response (IVR) and other APIs to the telecommunications industry. The Orchid One solution allows Sanntuu to offer Managed Interconnect services enabling carriers to efficiently and smoothly migrate from TDM to IP in the next few years, as Japan plans to phase out TDM by 2024.
