Elisa boosts Estonian LTE-A speeds

Estonian mobile operator Elisa Eesti has launched 225Mbps LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) services in Tallinn, increasing the peak download rate on its network by 150%. The new service, which uses carrier aggregation (CA) technology, is available to 75% of the capital. There are also plans to boost peak speeds in selected areas to 375Mbps by using tri-band aggregation in the 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz bands.
