Qatari-owned mobile provider Ooredoo Myanmar has begun upgrading its network with recently-acquired spectrum in the 1800MHz band, Eleven Myanmar cites Chief Marketing Officer Charity Safford as saying. The official claimed that the firm’s 4G network covered almost five million people with a presence in 52 townships across five cities, namely Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw and Bagan and Magwe.
