T-Mobile Poland expands LTE

T-Mobile Poland says its 4G LTE network now covers 99.7% of the country’s population, with more than 9,750 base transceiver stations (BTS) in service. The operator has added 450 new cell sites during the second quarter of 2017, following on from the addition of 400 new BTS in the first three months of the year. In addition, T-Mobile claims that 21% of the population now has access to faster LTE-Advanced (LTE) services, with 360 locations offering download speeds of up to 300Mbps via tri-carrier aggregation (3C).
