28 Jun 2017

Israeli multi-service operator Partner Communications Company has announced the launch of its new IPTV service, which it notes will include, among other things, 40 linear channels and video-on-demand (VoD) content. Further, as part of its collaboration with Netflix announced last month, Partner says that its television package will include Netflix content, which will be offered directly through Partner’s set-top box interface. Furthermore, as part of the Android TV’s operating system capabilities, subscribers will also be able to add content, games and music applications directly from Google Play. Partner has said it will offer the new service both on a standalone basis, but also part of double-play and triple-play offers together with fixed line voice and broadband connectivity.
