Croatian fixed and mobile operator Hrvatski Telekom (HT) has awarded a contract to Netcracker for a new converged billing solution. The vendor will consolidate HT’s legacy billing systems and provide improved support for customers with converged fixed-mobile packages. The telco says that by eliminating the dependency on multiple systems, it will also lower its total cost of ownership.
Ivana Vranic, Billing Transformation project director at HT, commented: ‘We at Hrvatski Telekom want to be the leader in the regional telecommunications and digital service market by the year 2020. We want to have the best network, the best digital services and the best customer experience. To achieve this, it is important we have an advanced, convergent billing system which will support future offerings and enable shorter time-to-market.’
HT is 51% owned by Germany’s Deutsche Telekom (DT).
