Italian fixed and mobile operator Vodafone has announced the expansion of its 1Gbps fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services to a further four cities. Its IperFibra offering, which was first launched last October, is now available in Milan, Bologna, Turin, Perugia, Bari, Catania, Cagliari and Venice. The service is being provided under a partnership with wholesale fibre partner Enel Open Fiber, which is deploying open access networks across urban areas of Italy.
