Italy’s Poste Mobile launches fixed line replacement service

Italian MVNO Poste Mobile has launched a new fixed telephony service. The ‘Poste Mobile Casa’ service will offer unlimited calls to all national fixed and mobile numbers for a single fee of EUR20.90 (USD22.40) per four-week period under a three-month promotional period, rising to EUR26.90 after 30 June. The service is being provided under Poste Mobile’s existing MVNO arrangement with Wind-Tre, using the wireless network for home phone connectivity rather than the traditional copper PSTN.
