MoC approves network sharing, hosting agreements between Cellcom and Electra

20 Mar 2017

Hot on the heels of gaining approval from Israel’s Antitrust Commissioner earlier this month, Israel’s Cellcom has now confirmed that its proposed network sharing and hosting agreement with Electra – which is set to acquire local rival cellco Golan Telecom – has been given the go ahead by the Ministry of Communications. Announcing the development via press release, Cellcom noted that the network sharing agreement remains subject to the completion of Golan’s share capital being purchased by Electra.
