H1 Telekom turns tables on Optima

25 Jan 2017

Croatian ISP H1 Telekom, which is subject to a takeover offer from rival Optima Telekom, is preparing to launch a counter-offer to acquire Optima. Broadband TV News writes that Zoran Curkovic, the founder and a minority (9.8%) shareholder in H1 Telekom, has officially requested amendments to an extraordinary assembly being held by the company today (25 January) to discuss such a move. The report suggests that Curkovic has devised a plan that would see H1 Telekom consolidate its debt, complete its recapitalisation and then take over Optima Telekom.
