Slovak telco SWAN has announced that it has met its objective of covering all districts of the country with time division duplex LTE (TD-LTE) for businesses. The company also announced that its current 4G residential broadband service is available to over 60 cities in more than 150 communities across Slovakia. SWAN’s TD-LTE network uses the 3.7GHz frequency band to deliver high speed internet. The firm launched its TD-LTE service in April 2016, initially covering 300 base stations nationwide, having migrated from a WiMAX platform.
