Altice to increase Dominican Republic spending

Netherlands based telecoms group Altice says it plans to increase its investment in its Dominican Republic operations by 20%, to DOP20 billion (USD429 million) over the next three years. The group operates fixed and mobile services via subsidiaries Orange Dominicana and Tricom and says it sees the Dominican Republic as a key part of its strategy. Altice also has operations in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Israel, the US and French Overseas Territories.
