MASMOVIL calls on Juniper Networks for converged multi-service network construction

4 Nov 2016

Spain’s Grupo MASMOVIL has selected Juniper Networks to build a converged multi-service network for its next-generation network services. The new infrastructure will allow MASMOVIL to ‘efficiently expand its service offerings (fixed, mobile, ADSL, fibre and data centre) to multiple segments (residential, enterprise and carriers) powered by a single high-performance IP infrastructure’.

According to Juniper, the new backbone network is comprised of the vendor’s MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers, including the MX960, MX480 and MX104. Juniper’s local integration partner Sistemas Avanzados de Tecnologia S.A. (SATEC), is said to have supported the project by providing design, installation, integration, migration, training and maintenance for the Juniper solution.
