Indian broadband services provider Quadrant Televentures, which operates under the Connect Broadband banner, has successfully tested internet speeds of 100Mbps (over copper) and 500Mbps over its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network, and plans to start offering the premium download connections in different cities in a phased manner. Connect Broadband is now in the process of testing VDSL vectoring and G.Fast technologies, and is aiming to offer 300Mbps (copper) and 1Gbps (fibre) speeds ‘very soon’.
