Cable company UPC Romania plans to add a further 500,000 households to its network coverage by the close of 2018, according to UPC Romania and Hungary CEO Robert Redeleanu. ZF.ro reports that once this figure has been achieved, the operator will consider adding mobile (MVNO) services to its existing triple-play portfolio in Romania. The firm aims to reach between 3.2 million and 3.3 million households by the end of 2018, an increase from the current coverage of 2.7 million homes.
