Slovenia’s Telekom Slovenije Group has reported revenues of EUR522.5 million (USD593 million) for the first nine months of 2016; revenues for the same period in 2015 were higher at EUR549.5 million due to the sale of Macedonian subsidiary ONE in July last year. The group’s domestic business saw net sales rise 1% to EUR476.7 million, with the growth attributed to broadband and IT services, plus higher revenues on the wholesale market. Excluding ONE, group revenues were up 1% and EBITDA was stable at EUR157.1 million. Nine-month net profit dropped from EUR72.5 million in 2015 to EUR23.5 million this year due to the one-off effects of the ONE transaction.
The group’s subscriber base rose compared to 30 September 2015, with the number of mobile users up 2.4% to 1.81 million and fixed broadband connections rising 5.6% to 344,052. Telekom Slovenije has operations in Slovenia, Kosovo and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
