Claro Colombia expands LTE network

Claro Colombia has announced that almost three years since it launched its 4G network, it now covers 374 municipalities with LTE technology, including 28 state capitals, according to Portafolio. The goal for Claro is to reach 100% nationwide LTE coverage by 2018, and the mobile market leader plans to implement 4.5G and 5G technologies over the coming years, in order to meet the increasing demands for faster connection speeds for its customers.
