T-Mobile US deploys ‘Extended Range LTE’ in San Francisco Bay Area

T-Mobile US has launched its 700MHz ‘Extended Range LTE’ service in the San Francisco Bay Area. According to a company press release the mobile giant now offers ‘deeper’ 4G coverage of the region, which encompasses the major cities and metropolitan areas of San Jose, San Francisco and Oakland, as well as a number of smaller urban and rural areas. The latest deployment activity means that T-Mobile’s 4G networks now cover 311 million Americans. Recent Extended Range LTE rollouts have seen connectivity enhanced in the likes of Los Angeles, Seattle and Denver, the cellco notes.
