ACT launches fibre services in Delhi

Bengaluru-based ISP Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) has launched its ‘Fibernet’-branded FTTx services in the Delhi region, the Economic Times reports. The service, which provides download speeds of up to 100Mbps, was made available in southern areas of the city, including Safdarjung, Green Park, Kalkaji and Malviya Nagar. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, ACT was India’s fourth-largest fixed broadband provider by subscribers at the end of March 2016 with 925,000 users or 5.5% of the market.
