ER-Telecom closes acquisition of Prestige Internet (Enforta)

Cableco ER-Telecom (Dom.ru), Russia’s second largest broadband internet provider by subscribers, has closed a deal to purchase 99.9% of Prestige Internet which operates in the corporate broadband/converged telecoms market under the Enforta brand, Tdaily.ru reports. The deal was given the go-ahead at the end of 2015 by the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service. In 2014 the acquired company’s revenues amounted to around RUB3.1 billion (USD47.3 million) whilst it currently serves over 50,000 corporate subscribers, 90% of which are situated outside of Moscow. An analyst quoted by Tdaily estimated the market value of Prestige Internet at RUB4 billion-RUB6 billion without taking into account possible debt.
