Reports from Malta suggest that the sale of fixed and mobile telco GO has attracted two bidders. The Times of Malta names Batelco of Bahrain and Tunisie Telecom of Tunisia as the two firms vying for control of GO, which is currently 60%-owned by Dubai-based Emirates International Telecommunication (EIT), with the remainder publicly traded. A decision on the preferred bidder is expected to be made by the end of this month.
