Belgian telecoms group Proximus has unveiled plans to merge its two Luxembourgish subsidiaries, Telindus and Tango, into a new company called Proximus Luxembourg, described as a ‘new convergent organisation with strong growth ambitions’. CorporateNews.lu reports that the move, which follows the full acquisition of Telindus in December, will be implemented in the next few months, with the combined entity expected to be fully operational in September. Under the restructuring, Proximus Luxembourg’s new Enterprise Business Unit will be responsible for providing corporate and SME services under the Telindus brand, while the Consumer Business Unit will manage the residential and small business market, providing mobile, fixed internet and TV services under the Tango brand.
