Consolidated acquires Champaign Telephone Company

Consolidated Communications has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Illinois-based corporate provider Champaign Telephone Company (CTC) and its sister operation, Big Broadband Services. CTC, which launched in 1984, serves approximately 1,500 business customers over 310 fibre-lit buildings. The all-cash transaction has been valued at USD13.0 million.
