Slovak fixed and mobile operator SWAN says its 4G cellular network, operated under the ‘4ka’ brand, has been launched in six new cities. Services are now available in Handlova, Nemsova, Svaty Jur, Sturovo, Trencianska Tepla and Zohor, raising coverage to 57 cities and towns. Partial coverage is also available in a further 37 communities, SWAN says. The service has attracted around 150,000 users since its full commercial launch in October, with SIM cards available to be purchased at more than 1,500 post office branches belonging to its retail partner Slovenska Posta.
