Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun (Dhiraagu), the Maldives’ incumbent telecoms operator, says it has completed the major upgrade of its Male’ fixed broadband network to improve service quality. As part of the project, the firm relocated some of its key technical equipment from Medhuziyaaraiy Magu to various enhanced sites across Male City. ‘Our primary objective has always been to provide the services of the highest quality. In doing so, we have been regularly upgrading our infrastructure as well,’ commented Dhiraagu’s Director of Customer Services and Sales, Ali Riyaz, adding: ‘We deeply regret the fact that a significant number of our customers were affected during this period and we would like to apologise to them for that. We would like to assure all our customers that with this upgrade of service, our customers would experience an even more superior service from our network.’
