Netherlands-based Altice Group is working with equipment vendor Arris International to enable the provision of gigabit services to customers in France, the US and the Dominican Republic. Altice will deploy the ARRIS E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) with SFR in France and Orange-Tricom in the Dominican Republic, and it will expand the E6000 CER footprint in its recently acquired US subsidiary, Suddenlink Communications. Max Blumberg, CTO of Altice, commented: ‘We look forward to deploying the platform across the Altice properties as we strive to deliver the broadband speeds and services our customers demand from us.’
