Slovenia’s T-2 forced back into bankruptcy

8 Mar 2016

Slovenian alternative mobile, fixed line and broadband provider T-2 has been forced back into bankruptcy after creditors won an appeal against an earlier ruling which had allowed the telco to exit receivership. According to a report from Finance.si, the High Court in Ljubljana upheld the appeal by DUTB, Banka Celje and TCK, criticising T-2 for failing to follow its restructuring plan. T-2 launched 3G mobile networks in 2008, adding to its existing triple-play portfolio of fixed broadband, TV and internet services. The firm has managed to continue to provide services to its subscribers despite several years of financial troubles.
