SFR Guadeloupe launches FTTH in Pointe-a-Pitre

Numericable-Outremer Guadeloupe, which recently rebranded to SFR, has launched fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services with downlink speeds of 100Mbps in Pointe-a-Pitre, Megazap reports. The development saw 3,000 households connected to the infrastructure, with 6,000 additional households scheduled to be passed by end-2016. SFR’s fibre-based services are now available to 98,000 premises in the municipalities of Abymes, Baie-Mahault, Basse-Terre, Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Gourbeyre, Goyave, Lamentin, Le Moule, Morne-a-l’Eau, Petit-Bourg, Saint-Claude, Sainte-Anne, Trois-Rivieres and Vieux-Fort.
