Maltese telco GO has reported revenues of EUR123.7 million (USD140 million) for full-year 2015, up 1.2% year-on-year. Operating profit climbed from EUR21.8 million in 2014 to EUR27.8 million a year later, an increase of 27.9%. GO’s Chairman Deepak Padmanabhan commented: ‘2015 has been an excellent year for GO and its shareholders. Profitability continues to increase based on a proven programme that is delivering growth in retail revenue and control over costs driven by improved efficiency.’ The firm is Malta’s second largest cellco, with around 39% of the overall market according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, while it is also in second position in the fixed broadband sector, with 47% of retail subscribers.
