Slovak Telekom has contracted back-office solutions provider NetCracker to converge its fixed and mobile billing processes onto a single, end-to-end platform. The telco is a long-term customer of NetCracker’s Revenue Management solution for fixed line services and is now expanding the deployment to cover its mobile operations. The vendor says the move will enable Slovak Telekom to reduce operating expenses, improve business agility and create a more consolidated approach to billing and revenue management.
Deutsche Telekom subsidiary Slovak Telekom is the second largest of Slovakia’s four mobile network operators, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, and is also the country’s dominant fixed line provider. Branimir Maric, CTIO at Slovak Telekom, commented: ‘We are excited to bring our mobile and fixed billing onto a single platform, which will allow us to reduce sales costs and operating expenditure and generate additional revenue opportunities.’
