Telekom vectoring reaches a further 600,000 homes

Telekom Deutschland, the domestic fixed and mobile unit of German telecoms giant Deutsche Telekom (DT), has expanded its VDSL vectoring service to a further 42 municipalities, enabling customers in the upgraded areas to access maximum speeds of 100Mbps (downlink) and 40Mbps (uplink). The vectoring footprint now covers an additional 600,000 households in areas such as Pforzheim, Bottrop, Gelsenkirchen, Gutersloh, Emden, Bautzen and Kulmbach.
