Norway-based NextGenTel Holding reported stable revenues in the third quarter of 2015, with turnover for its domestic unit falling marginally to NOK292.9 million (USD35.6 million) from NOK293.7 million in 2Q15. The company attributed the minor decline to lower turnover in the corporate segment due to seasonality, it did however note that consumer revenues increased quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA in the period under review stood at NOK57.4 million, representing a 1.9% increase against the prior three-month period (NOK56.3 million), though down from NOK58.0 million in 3Q14. Capital expenditures totalled NOK27.5 million in 3Q15, a reduction from NOK28.2 million in the previous quarter.
As at end-September 2015 NextGenTel had a total of 135,975 broadband accesses on its books, of which it noted that 13,200 were connected via fibre, while 23,000 were on a high-speed VDSL-based connection. Broadband average revenue per user (ARPU) was NOK330 per month in 3Q15, lower than the NOK332 per month reported in the previous quarter, but an increase from the NOK325 per month recorded in 3Q14. Mobile accesses meanwhile numbered 49,075, representing a quarter-on-quarter growth rate of 3.8%, though VoIP subscribers continued to decline, to 84,069 from 86,308.
