AT&T launches GigaPower fibre in 23 new markets

AT&T has extended its GigaPower fibre-optic network to residential and small business customers in 23 new markets. According to a series of press announcements, new areas covered by the 1Gbps service have been named as Alpharetta, Cartersville, Duluth, East Point and Rome (all Atlanta, Georgia); Bolingbrook, Mundelein, Shorewood and Volo (all Chicago, Illinois); Clemmons, Holly Springs, Salisbury and Garner (all North Carolina); Gallatin and Spring Hill (both Nashville, Tennessee); Hunters Creek Village and Rosenberg (both Houston, Texas); Coral Gables, Homestead, Miami Gardens and Parkland (all Miami, Florida); and Oviedo and Sanford (both Orlando, Florida).
