Deutsche Telekom plans to connect 2.4m homes to fibre in 4Q15

German telecoms giant Deutsche Telekom (DT) aims to offer its fibre-optic connections to an additional 2.4 million households during 4Q15, according to Reuters, citing Chief Financial Officer Thomas Dannenfeldt. Telekom Deutschland, the domestic fixed and mobile unit of DT, currently offers VDSL and fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services, with the operator recording 3.8 million fibre-optic lines in service at the end of September 2015.
