22 Oct 2015

Swedish-backed cellco Ucell has expanded its 4G LTE services to Samarkand, making the service available outside of the capital for the first time, UzDaily writes. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Ucell launched its 2600MHz LTE service in Tashkent in Q1 2015. 4G offerings are comparatively expensive, however, with monthly subscriptions costing either USD45 or USD70 per month for 8GB/16GB of data at theoretical peak downlink speeds of 150Mbps.
