Unicom and SKT ink MoU

China Unicom and SK Telekom (SKT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreeing to cooperate on a range of issues, from 5G to international roaming, Telecom Asia writes. The duo plan to work together on the development of 5G, including promotion, standardisation and commercialisation of new technologies. The two operators also plan to improve roaming services for customers on each other’s networks. Also included under the MoU were plans to collaborate on establishing a startup ecosystem and sharing information on platforms, products and services.
