Angola’s leading mobile operator Unitel and Chinese technology partner Huawei have announced the launch of a SDP virtualisation platform based on technology deployed in Unitel’s own cloud data centre, reports Telecompaper. The deployment is aimed at enabling Unitel to introduce rich digital services and content easily, while generating revenues more quickly. Huawei says its SDP solutions can accelerate digital transformation through the ROADS (Real time/On-demand/All-online/DIY/Social) open platform.
