NGI upgrades wireless broadband networks

Italian wireless broadband operator NGI, which trades as EOLO, has contracted Cambium Networks to expand and upgrade its infrastructure. The three-year deal will see Cambium deploy its PMP 450 and PTP 650 equipment to improve spectral efficiency and network capacity. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, NGI currently serves around 200,000 residential and business subscribers, predominantly in northern and central Italy.
