18 Sep 2015

Slovakian wireless broadband provider BENESTRA has replaced its entire WiMAX network with JET point-to-multipoint solutions from Israel-based equipment vendor RADWIN. The telco’s upgraded 3.7GHz network will offer greater capacity and more reliable connectivity, RADWIN said in a press release. Piotr Sieluk, CEO of BENESTRA, commented: ‘The technology empowers us to deliver 10-to-25Mbps bandwidth today, with the capability to reach higher bandwidths in the future. Thanks to the new network we can deliver higher quality and very reliable services to our customers with shortened service delivery times.’ Previously known as GTS Slovakia, BENESTRA provides broadband fixed wireless access (BFWA) services to business users across Slovakia.
