Slovanet upgrades fixed-wireless service for businesses

11 Sep 2015

Slovakian internet service provider Slovanet has announced an upgrade of its 10.5GHz broadband fixed wireless access (BFWA) networks, which will now offer business users connectivity at peak theoretical speeds of up to 110Mbps. The firm says the upgrade has gone live in the first ten towns (Banska Bystrica, Bratislava, Kosice, Lucenec, Presov, Roznava, Senica, Skalica, Trebisov, Trencin, Zvolen and Zilina), with services eventually being extended across its entire 10.5GHz network, which reaches every district. Equipment has been supplied by Intracom Telecom.
