Flow Jamaica to spend USD59.4 million

Flow Jamaica, which incorporates the recently merged operations of cableco Flow and fixed/mobile operator LIME, is to invest USD59.4 million over the next twelve months to deploy fibre networks and to create a new call centre in Kingston, local newspaper The Observer writes. The firm, which is owned by UK-based Cable and Wireless Communications (CWC), is looking to roll out a nationwide fibre-optic network to boost its broadband internet and pay-TV businesses.
