Tele2 lifts 3G network coverage to 50 regions

Tele2 Russia has announced the expansion of its 3G network to Arkhangelsk, Kursk and Pskov, bringing the total number of regions covered by the mobile data service to 50 since its launch in November last year. The company is aiming to roll out 3G services to the remaining regions where it already has a 2G presence by the end of this year. In addition, Tele2 has revealed that it launched a 4G 1800MHz network in Greater Sochi last month.
