AT&T deploys GigaPower FTTH service in two dozen new cities

In a series of announcements, AT&T has confirmed that it is extending its 1Gbps ‘U-verse With AT&T GigaPower’ fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service to over two dozen new cities in seven major metropolitan markets. In its latest network deployment push, the telco has launched the upgraded broadband service in Florida, Georgia and Texas. Among the new market areas covered are Atlanta (Georgia), Fort Lauderdale and Miami (Florida) and Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas). Meanwhile, future rollout destinations are set to include Jacksonville (Florida), St Louis (Missouri) and San Antonio (Texas).
