Singapore’s second largest telecoms operator by subscribers, StarHub, has unveiled a new over-the-top (OTT) online video streaming service, dubbed StarHub Go, allowing customers to access its pay-TV content via any suitably enabled device. Channels included in the offer comprise content from, amongst others, HBO, Sony Pictures Television, TVB and Discovery Networks. The new service is open to the operator’s post-paid mobile and broadband customers who can add OTT as an option to their monthly bills (n.b. mobile customers are being offered unmetered streaming on their tariff plans), while non-StarHub subscribers can buy a 30-day pass giving them unlimited access.

The basic cost of a StarHub Go subscription is SGD9.90 (USD7) per month, with premium and sports packs priced at SGD19.90 and SGD24.90 respectively.
