GO Malta sees 41% rise in first half operating profit

12 Aug 2015

GO, a provider of quad-play fixed, wireless, data and TV services in Malta, has reported a 41.4% year-over-year increase in operating profit for the six months to 30 June 2015, to EUR13.7 million (USD15.1 million). Revenues remained stable at EUR60.7 million, while administration and sales costs fell by EUR2.3 million from the year-earlier period to EUR47.4 million. The firm attributed the positive results to strong take-up of its Limitless mobile plans and the Limitless Homepack multi-play offering, as well as its ongoing cost reduction programme. GO’s chairman Deepak Padmanabhan commented: ‘These results have been achieved because GO has pursued a clear strategy of revamping its product portfolio, enhancing customer experience and driving efficiency.’
